The powder parade continues into this week after a great weekend of storms. New snow here is as of Monday morning. Storm totals are Thursday night through Monday morning.
Here are some highlights for this weekend: Sandia Peak open Friday through Sunday... Santa Fe has everything but two runs and some rails open in the terrain park... Taos has opened the Kachina Peak Lift running now... Pajarito has opened the Townsite Lift and terrain for the first time this season... Angel Fire has great ticket deals for 50th anniversary this weekend... Sipapu has weekday ticket deals... Red River has January Bargain Days... Purgatory has Women's Weekend starting Friday... Wolf Creek has Local Appreciation Day on Wednesday.

|What's New: The Emerald Quad Chairlift has replaced the Green Chairlift at Summit Camp. The Emerald Quad provides better access to the gentle slopes of Summit Camp and acts as a portal to terrain served by the Silver Chairlift. The Emerald Quad will load on Green Acres and rise above that to the west with views of trails wandering among the aspens. The realignment along with the Emerald Quad Chairlift will carry skiers and riders to the ridge and access The West Bowl and the Silver Chairlift. This new chair has double the capacity of the old Green Chair.|
